Trevor is a self-taught engineer, programmer, and innovator with a foundational education from ITT-Tech in their CNS Networking program.
Trevor’s journey into computing began in the sixth grade in 1991 when I first delved into building computers and understanding their inner workings. His software development career started in 1998 with Borland C++, marking my initial foray into programming. By 2000, he was writing PHP and mIRC scripts and exploring the capabilities of Linux.
During his time in the Air Force, Trevor began using the LAMP stack for personal projects in 2000. By 2004, he had fully transitioned to using Gentoo Linux for both my desktop and server needs..
In 2007, Trevir joined Global Tracking Comm and developed a system for vehicle tracking and reporting. This role involved working with networking, the LAMP stack, Java for GPS data processing, and PHP for the customer interface.
I have gained experience with various technologies including ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Zookeeper, Redis, Memcached, and Websockets. The project I contributed to is a multi-node distributed GPS data processing system, showcasing my expertise in building complex, scalable solutions.
